My name is Rahul Singh and I am a personal development enthusiast. I look for ways to improve my life in different areas – health, productivity, money, relationships, spirituality etc. I like to experiment with different things to improve, enhance my knowledge.
As a child, I had very low self esteem. As I grew up, I started looking for ways to improve my life. This started me on a journey of self improvement that I still savor. I have done quite well professionally, due in large parts to the lessons I learned on this journey. I was studying in a small, not-so-known college in the remote North-Eastern region of India when I started on this journey. It took me to the post of Technical Consultant in New York to one of the biggest Investments Bank in the world.
In the year 2010, I realized I have enjoyed my personal development pursuits more than my success as a Software Engineer and left my job to follow things closer to my heart. I want to share this pursuit with you, for the more people who gain from this, the more will join in it. And company of like feathered friends is always a good thing. When I reach a higher plain, I want to call you all to share the beauty. And when someone from among you sees the higher truth, I would love to be let in on the fun!

Welcome to this site. I am glad you find the content helpful.
I am not sure how these two terms(fate and destiny) differ. I use them rarely, for I believe we create our own lives.
I believe we may not have had a choice in deciding what circumstances we were born in or grew up in, but we have absolute control over where we take our lives from this origin.
Probably, this is what the phrase means.
Whether or not this makes sense to you, keep questioning and seeking answers.
